Ending Poverty for Educators
Poverty is complex, but the solutions to ending it are not. Nearly 44 million people are living in poverty in the US--over 14 percent of our population. Despite past successes in our country that have moved millions out of poverty, it remains. Empowering people to lift themselves out of poverty requires an investment in each other. It ultimately requires shining a light on what our priorities are and looking at how well we take care of those that are most vulnerable. Poverty is complex, but the solutions to ending it are not:
