National Immigration Forum

Founded in 1982, the National Immigration Forum advocates for the value of immigrants and immigration to our nation.  In service to this mission, the Forum promotes responsible immigration policies that honor our Founding Fathers’ ideals of America as a land of opportunity and also address today’s economic and national security needs.

National Immigration Project

The National Immigration Project is a national non-profit that provides legal and technical support to immigrant communities, legal practitioners, and all advocates seeking to advance the rights of non-citizens. For forty years, the National Immigration Project has been promoting justice and equality of treatment in all areas of immigration law, the criminal justice system, and social policies related to immigration.

New America Media

New America Media is the country's first and largest national collaboration and advocate of 2000 ethnic news organizations. Over 57 million ethnic adults connect to each other, to home countries and to America through 3000+ ethnic media, the fastest growing sector of American journalism.

ACLU

The ACLU was born in the 1920's during the "Red Scare," a time when then U.S. Attorney General A. Mitchell Palmer was ordering immigrants summarily detained and deported because of their political views. That was the beginning of the ACLU's long work challenging unconstitutional laws and practices to make the Constitution a living document for everyone in the country. The ACLU has defended the Constitution's guarantees on behalf of the foreign-born and immigrants ever since.

National Immigrant Justice Center

Heartland Alliance's National Immigrant Justice Center (NIJC) is dedicated to ensuring human rights protections and access to justice for all immigrants, refugees and asylum seekers. NIJC provides direct legal services to and advocates for these populations through policy reform, impact litigation, and public education.

Immigration Advocates Network

Immigration Advocates Netowrk’s mission is to enhance and unify the work of the nation's immigrants' rights organizations by providing an online resource and communication site to support joint work. Their goal is to enable each organization to serve its members while simultaneously strengthening the immigrants' rights movement as a whole. The Immigration Advocates Network (IAN) is a collaborative effort of leading national immigration advocacy organizations designed to increase access to justice for low-income immigrants.

U.S. Committee for Refugees and Immigrants

The U.S. Committee for Refugees and Immigrants works to protect the rights and address the needs of persons in forced or voluntary migration worldwide by advancing fair and humane public policy, facilitating and providing direct professional services, and promoting the full participation of migrants in community life.
