Dr. Oz is host of the Daytime Emmy Award-winning The Dr. Oz Show and also Vice-Chair and Professor of Surgery at Columbia University. His website contains articles on a wide range of preventative-health measures, especially advocating a healthy diet and active lifestyle.

Alliance for a Healthy Generation

The Alliance for a Healthier Generation works to address one of the nation’s leading public health threats – childhood obesity. Founded in 2005 by the American Heart Association and William J. Clinton Foundation, the Alliance works to positively affect the places that can make a difference in a child’s health: homes, schools, doctor’s offices, and communities.

Jacobson Foundation in 2001.  The goal of Live Healthy America is to increase awareness of obesity, overweight, and associated conditions and to provide the tools, resources, and technology to assist individuals, organizations, and corporations in creating a culture of wellness.

Healthy Families America

Healthy Families America (HFA) is a nationally recognized evidence-based home visiting program model designed to work with overburdened families who are at-risk for adverse childhood experiences, including child maltreatment.  It is the primary home visiting model best equipped to work with families who may have histories of trauma, intimate partner violence, mental health and/or substance abuse issues.
