Oxfam International

Oxfam is an international confederation of 15 organizations working together in over 90 countries and with partners and allies around the world to find lasting solutions to poverty and injustice. We work directly with communities and seek to influence the powerful to ensure that poor people can improve their lives and livelihoods.

End Poverty

EndPoverty.org helps enable the very poor of the world to lift themselves, their families and their communities out of poverty. We provide small loans, business training and community development programs through a network of locally-led organizations around the world to equip poor families to improve their lives.

CARE

CARE is a leading humanitarian organization fighting global poverty. We place special focus on working alongside poor women because, equipped with the proper resources, women have the power to help whole families and entire communities escape poverty.

InterAction

InterAction is the largest alliance of U.S.-based international nongovernmental organizations (NGOs), with more than 190 members working in every developing country.  Members are faith-based and secular, large and small, with a focus on the world’s most poor and vulnerable populations.

Center for Economic and Social Rights

Established in 1993, the Center for Economic and Social Rights is one of the first organizations to challenge economic injustice as a violation of international human rights law. Through its projects abroad and in the United States, CESR has developed an effective strategy that combines research, advocacy, collaboration, and education for strengthening social justice activism.

Thousand Days Campaign

The 1,000 days between a woman’s pregnancy and her child’s 2nd birthday offer a unique window of opportunity to shape healthier and more prosperous futures. The right nutrition during this 1,000 day window can have a profound impact on a child’s ability to grow, learn, and rise out of poverty. By focusing on improving nutrition for mothers and children in the 1,000 day window, this campaign helps to ensure a child can live a healthy and productive life.

Center of Concern

Through research, analysis, networking, public education and advocacy, the Center works to advance more just, sustainable and authentically human development for all, especially for the marginalized and those in poverty.
