The Alliance for Education

The Alliance for Excellent Education is a Washington, DC-based national policy and advocacy organization that works to improve national and federal policy so that all students can achieve at high academic levels. The Alliance focuses on America’s six million most at-risk secondary school students—those in the lowest achievement quartile—who are most likely to leave school without a diploma or to graduate unprepared for a productive future.

Complete College America

Complete College America is a national nonprofit working to significantly increase the number of Americans with a college degree or credential of value and to close attainment gaps for traditionally underrepresented populations. The organization was founded in 2009 to focus solely on dramatically increasing the nation’s college-completion rate through state policy change and to build consensus for change among state leaders, higher education, and the national education policy community.

The Lumina Foundation

Lumina is a private, independent foundation committed to enrolling and graduating more students from college. They are the nation’s largest foundation dedicated exclusively to increasing students’ access to and success in post-secondary education. The Council of the Great City Schools| CGCS

The Council of the Great City Schools is a coalition of 66 of the nation's largest urban public school systems that works to promote urban education through legislation, research, media relations, instruction, management, technology, and other special projects. Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation

The foundation has set an ambitious goal in K-12 education: to graduate all students college-ready. Currently only a third of all students graduate on-time with the skills and knowledge they need to succeed beyond high school. Together with our partners, we are working to provide all students—especially low-income and minority students—with the opportunity to realize their full potential.

The Learning First Alliance

The Learning First Alliance is a partnership of 16 education associations with more than 10 million members dedicated to improving student learning in America's public schools. We share examples of success, encourage collaboration at every level, and work toward the continual and long-term improvement of public education based on solid research.
