DoSomething.org is one of the largest organizations in the U.S. that helps young people rock causes they care about. A driving force in creating a culture of volunteerism, DoSomething.org is on track to activate two million young people in 2011. By leveraging the web, television, mobile, and pop culture, DoSomething.org inspires, empowers and celebrates a generation of doers: young people (25 and under) who recognize the need to do something, believe in their ability to get it done, and then take action.

Global Youth Service Day

Global Youth Service Day is an annual campaign that celebrates and mobilizes the millions of children and youth who improve their communities each day of the year through service and service-learning. Established in the United States 1988, and globally in 2000, Global Youth Service Day is the largest service event in the world, and the only day of service dedicated to children and youth. GYSD is celebrated each year in over 100 countries.

National Teen Leadership Conference

NTLP provides a safe and comfortable environment for a three-day-weekend life changing conference. Their goal is to motivat teens to help them feel empowered to make a difference and change the world! NTLP does not push any political or religious agendas, is open to all teens of all faiths, all ethnicities, all gender preferences, all GPAs; college bound, trade school bound, don't know where bound, high school, or home schooled. ALL Teens are welcomed!

Youth Service America

YSA engages and educates youth to change the world.YSA coordinates Global Youth Service Day and Semester of Service, distributes over $1 million in grants annually, and provides resources and trainings.

The Bonner Scholars Foundation

The Bonner Scholars were founded in 1990 by the Bonner Foundation. The program provides scholarship money that allows students who would otherwise be working part-time to invest the same amount of time in community service. The foundation later created the Bonner Leaders program in order to further engage student leaders.

IndyKids

IndyKids is a free newspaper, website and teaching tool that informs children about current news and world events from a progressive perspective and inspires a passion for social justice and learning. It is geared toward kids in grades 4 to 7. We believe that kids understand what is happening around them and the truth does not have to be sanitized.  IndyKids engages young kids to understand that they can form their own opinions and become part of the larger movement for justice and peace.

Get Ur Good ON

Started in 2009 by YSA and Miley Cyrus, Get Ur Good On™ is an online network for youth to support each other in their missions to do “good” in their communities. Featuring celebrity involvement, multimedia platforms, and grants and awards, it's the place for youth to learn, implement, and share innovative solutions to global issues.

Youth Venture

Youth Venture inspires and invests in teams of young people to design and launch their own lasting social ventures, enabling them to have this transformative experience of leading positive social change. Started in the US, Youth Venture is now expanding internationally. As we invest in Venturers around the world, we are beginning to connect them into a powerful global network.

Little Helping Hands

Research indicates that people are much more likely to volunteer throughout their lifetimes if they volunteer as a child. This likelihood increases when children volunteer with their family.  Our hope is that by making it easier for families to find and sign-up for volunteer activities, we are fostering community service for generations to come.

GirlUp

-Girl Up, a campaign of the United Nations Foundation, gives American girls the opportunity to channel their energy and compassion to raise awareness and funds for programs of the United Nations that help some of the world’s hardest-to-reach adolescent girls. Through Girl Up’s support, girls have the opportunity to become educated, healthy, safe, counted, and positioned to be the next generation of leaders.

Hardy Girls Healthy Women

The National Coalition of Girls’ Schools

The National Coalition of Girls' Schools (NCGS) is a leading advocate for girls' education. Girls Write Now

Girls Write Now Inc. (GWN) is New York’s premier creative writing and mentoring non-profit organization, matching bright, creative teenage girls from the city’s public high schools with professional women writers in the community since 1998. Through weekly one-to-one mentoring, monthly group genre-based workshops, and a five-part public reading series, their mission is to provide a safe and supportive environment where underserved or at-risk high school girls can expand their natural writing talents, develop independent voices, and build confidence in making healthy choices in school, career and life.

The International Women's Health Coalition (IWHC)

The International Women's Health Coalition (IWHC) promotes and protects the sexual and reproductive rights and health (SRRH) of all women and young people, particularly in Africa, Asia, and Latin America, by helping to develop effective health and population policies, programs, and funding. IWHC beleives that social and economic justice, the foundations of global well-being, can only be achieved by ensuring women's human rights, health, and equality.
